From the planto the last junction.

Four disciplines that only work together. A material palette without a plan is decoration; a plan without detailing is a drawing nobody can build from.

01 / Disciplines

Four, and they overlap.

Listed separately because they are priced separately. In practice they are one conversation held over several months.

  1. 01

    Interior architecture

Reworking the plan itself — walls, levels, apertures and circulation. The decisions that cannot be undone later with furniture.

    • Spatial planning
    • Strip-out strategy
    • Apertures and light
    • Circulation
  2. 02

    Material and detailing

Every junction drawn at scale. How oak meets plaster, where a reveal falls, what happens at a threshold after four years of use.

    • Material palettes
    • Junction details
    • Bespoke joinery
    • Finish schedules
  3. 03

    Lighting

Designed as a layer in its own right rather than added at the end. Daylight first, then what the room needs after dark.

    • Daylight modelling
    • Layered schemes
    • Fitting specification
    • Controls
  4. 04

    Delivery

On site through to handover. Documentation is only proven when a contractor prices it without guessing and builds it without calling.

    • Tender packages
    • Contractor queries
    • Site inspection
    • Snagging
02 / In detail

Stage by stage.

  • A measured drawing of what is actually there, not what the original plans claim. On older buildings those differ by more than people expect, and every later drawing inherits the error.

    • — Measured plan and sections
    • — Existing services located
    • — Light study at the hours that matter
    • — Constraints note before any design begins
03 / Programme

How a project actually runs.

  1. Stage 01

    Survey

We measure what is actually there rather than trusting the drawings, and sit in the room at the hour it matters most.

  2. Stage 02

    Scheme

Plan and material develop together. You see the same drawings we do — nothing is resolved off-screen.

  3. Stage 03

    Detail

Every junction drawn at scale, specified and scheduled to the level a contractor can price without assumptions.

  4. Stage 04

    Site

We are there while it is built. That is when documentation is tested, and when the details either survive or do not.

Not sure which stage you need?

Most people aren't at the start. Describe the room and the problem, and we will tell you which stage actually fits — including if the answer is none of them yet.
